This course is about telling the story of what your Circle does: what a story is, why it matters, and how to tell one that people will remember and pass on.

You’ll learn:

  • Why stories are important, and how to find the one behind your Circle’s issue
  • How to pick a format and interview people with their consent
  • How to film on a phone and edit it into a short video
  • How to end with an ask, post it, and get the story retold

This course will help you turn your Circle’s reports into stories that bring people to the next meetup, into a Circle, or to start one of their own.

This training provides the foundations for becoming a Circle Steward: someone who brings people together, identifies meaningful local challenges, and helps turn shared concern into collective action.

Across four short modules, you'll learn:

  • What Logos is and why it exists
  • Why local organising matters
  • How to identify and work on winnable issues
  • How to launch and grow a successful Circle

Circles are where the ideas behind Logos meet reality. They are how communities build trust, develop local capacity, and begin creating practical alternatives from the ground up.

This course will give you the tools, frameworks, and knowledge base to start organising in your own city and contribute to a growing network of communities building peaceful, parallel institutions.

Welcome to the Logos Hacktivist training, a course you can follow at your own pace to explore how your skills and ideas can contribute to the Logos ecosystem. From supporting Circles with practical needs to experimenting on the Logos stack and building long-term infrastructure, you’ll discover different ways to get involved.

You’ll explore:

  • The Logos vision and the role of Circles in building a parallel society.
  • User-driven product development, from identifying recurring problems and validating needs to testing ideas and learning from real users.
  • The Logos technology stack, including Logos Blockchain, Messaging, Storage and Basecamp, with an introduction to running nodes and exploring developer resources.
  • Building on the ecosystem, including open-source collaboration, working with Circles and EcoDev, and turning successful experiments into reusable infrastructure.

The course provides the foundations for Hacktivists to work across the movement, connect community needs with technical possibilities, and contribute to tools and infrastructure that can scale beyond a single Circle.

This course explores the idea of building a parallel society: why it is needed, what it looks like, and how Logos plans to help build it.

You’ll explore:

• Why existing systems are failing, and how increasing centralisation can make institutions more fragile and easier to capture.
• What a parallel society is, including historical examples of communities building their own institutions and infrastructure.
• Why decentralised technology matters, and how it can help create institutions that are more resilient, self-sovereign and difficult to control from a single point.
• How Logos fits into this vision, and the role of people like you in building the institutions, economy and infrastructure of a parallel society.
